Why is this, you may ask?
It probably has to do with the fact that my father, may he rest in peace, was a huge fan of James Bond. And in my Television deprived childhood, any opportunity to watch an action movie was a ground-breaking experience. So when there were no Sunday night Disney movies available, Good ol' J.B. was on the docket!!
And lets be honest. Who among us would not love a great action flick, with the penultimate villain being some mysterious bald-headed fat-cat (with a cat!) who pulled the international string of world supremacy??
Yea, Sean was just the best. He was the first James Bond and IMHO, was always the best J.B.
We'll miss you, sir. You were an example of how to conduct yourself properly in polite society as a REAL man, along with, despite potentially conflicting end-game objectives / ladies, somehow you always managed to put your country first.
May we all learn the lessons which you so clearly espoused in your films.

Rest easy, my friend, example, and lady-catching mentor. Shaken, not stirred.
