It's interesting how we as adults can read, but we really don't SEE. When kids are learning letters and new words, they come up with the darnedest thing. Case & point. We are leaving swimming when Alexander notices the name of the swim center.

Alexander: Why is it outside?
Me: Why is what outside?
Alexander: The pool?
Me: The swimming pool? It's not. It's inside.
Alexander: Well then the sign is wrong.
Me: What do you mean?
Alexander: The sign for the pool. It says it's outside.
Me: I don't get it. It's an indoor pool.
Alexander: It says South Bay Aquatics.
Me: Yes. We are in the south bay.
Alexander: No. South Bay. It says OUT.

Me: Touche, my young padwan.
