More specifically we have one flea. But he's a BIG one.
As a gift for Alexander for being so patient when Sarah took bear to the vet, the veterinarian gave him an inflatable flea. This was supposed to be used as an advertising gimmick at the vet's office, but the vet found it to be quite disturbing. Naturally.
At first glance it is. But then, after a few times of seeing the little blood sucker, it remains just as disturbing.
But OH the fun we have with our new flea! Every time Alexander spots him, he yells out "Flea, flea!" with unbridled excitement. The flea does like to make it's rounds in it's new home. During meals, he'll come scurrying around the corner wall and peek in, just to see if it's safe. When Sarah is in the shower, he has been known to scamper up the curtain and peek over the top. Fleas like to keep clean, after all. The flea also likes to sit in the very middle of the empty hallway, guarding it against, well, any "lesser" fleas. But best of all, our flea loves to sit on the couch with us, deep in thought. He rubs his front legs together, quietly saying "good.... good....."
