So the great and powerful "Kyoto Pact" goes into affect today. Just as the fear mongers and radical environmentalists are supporting those 'brave' nations that have pledged their cooperation, they cry bloody murder that the US hasn't fallen in step. Good for it. And why should we? Why should we pander to such 'global warming' nonsense? It is a myth that has drawn the politicians and self-proclaimed scientific elites together to fight a mere figment of their imagination. Ironic, that just this evening i finished Michael Chriton's new book 'State of Fear.' It's an extremely well written piece on the dangers of extreme environmentalism and its infatuation with the global warming hoax. Suspenseful and quite well documented, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the true agenda of the eco-friendly liberals who rue the success of the great American civilization. Don't get me wrong, i encourage everyone to respect their environment. But when people go about touting what is paramount to a religious fanaticism with little to no fact behind it, their reasoning and motivation becomes highly suspect. Zeal without knowledge is a runaway horse.
